Engagement in beekeeping is our family tradition. Generations have been acquiring experience, which I took over from my father to whom I can give thanks to for this wonderful and very useful work. In daily contact with these beautiful creatures I'm fulfilled by love for the bees and nature. Bees are bringing hard and tirelessly nectar to their beehives, visiting the thousands of flowers a day and so by pollinating them they help the survival of plant life.

My thirty LR beehives are located on the island of the sage - the island of Krk, in the region that is called Dobrova (wood). Due to the exceptional beauty of the landscape, one calls it also "Opatija". Beehives are surrounded by acacia, oak, elm and ash forest and on the surrounding hills there is a sage who at the time of honey flow gives an excellent quality honey.

Stationary apiary (I even move my beehives along the island to pasture) is located 4 km from the town Draga Bašćanska and 8 km from Baška. Throughout the whole Baška valley there is a river running, which further contributes to the beauty of landscape and the domestic population calls it Vela rika (Grand River).

Nature in this part of the island of Krk is unspoiled and unpolluted because there was never an industry here. The basic interest of people of this region has always been agriculture, animal husbandry and beekeeping, so this is the real ecological area. Products of my apiary are not only honey but also pollen (flower powder), propolis, comb honey and various preparations of honey and other bee products.

In the production of bee products I use only organic resources: pharmaceuticals, dyes for beehives, accessories for work with the bees are of the stainless materials... A number of medals obtained at a number of competitions across the country speak about the quality of my product. In our family beekeeping farm you can obtain all of these products either by purchase on the "doorstep" in Draga Bašćanska 259 or in our small store that is located 100 meters from our house.
